Vintage desk lamp designed by Louis Kalff for Philips.
 
The model 'Timor' desk lamp is one of his most famous designs.
 
This lamp was acquired from someone who used to work at the lighting department of philips.
 
It is an early (pre?) production model in a unique dark grey colour. 
 
The other most notable differences are the shape of the light bulb holder which is longer then other timor lamps, the larger diameter of the hole in the shade and the bigger size of the lamp.
 
This example has the conical shaped rod, which gives it a more refined look.
 
We looked this lamp up on the internet and weren' t able to find one like this. We cannot confirm if this lamp has been produced like this or not.
 
Works with a regular E27 light bulbs, tested and ready for use (works all over the world)
 
Perfect condition, no dents or scratches.
