Frequently Asked Questions

How to order?

We kindly ask you to contact us for a shipping quote trough the contact form. We will reply to you within 12h. If you confirm the total amount we will send you an order confirmation joined by a paypal or regular invoice depending on your payment preference.

What are the payment methods?

You can pay by bank wire or with paypal.

Do we accept returns?

Yes, we do.. Once you've received your item you have a 14 day return right. This means that if you've decided the item is not as wished for or doesn't fit into the space you can send it back within the 14 days of reception.

Shipping costs are for the buyer, both inbound and return costs, this also includes any customs/duties taxes.

We also charge a 15% restocking fee for cross continental purchases, all orders out of EU (these orders take a lot more time to be prepared and have costs involved because of customs regulations and paperwork)

Should there occur damage in transit back to Vintiques, this should be refunded buy the buyer.

Ofcourse we can help you organize the return shipping.

What to do in case of damage or loss?

Even with the best will in the world, it sometimes happens. Most of the items are unique and not easily replaceable but we will always do our outmost best to solve any issues.

Please contact us immediatly and allow us to solve the case.

To help us handle damage claims quickly we demand you to take pictures of the inside and outside of the box + the damaged item. We will then Issue a claim and handle this further with the shipping company. Please allow us the needed time to file a claim and issue a refund.

Is shipping insured? And how is my order packed?

Yes, we ship insured with Fedex/TNT.

We always pack our items well taking everything into account. We use bubble wrap, air cushions, extra cardboard inside the box and so on. For larger and heavier items we use a company that crates the items for us.

How fast can I receive my item(s)?

Depending on how fast you need your items and where you are located, we can offer express service. Before buying an item you can contact us to get an exact quote.

We always provide you with tracking information and estimate delivery times.

I am a trader, interior designer, ...

Yes! We love to be part of your project! We have provided lamps and pieces of furniture for different projects, especially in the usa. We can offer trade prices and arrange bulk shipments to make it all the more attractive.

We know there are a lot of specialized dealers out there and are happy to supply you with intresting prices for specific pieces. Feel free to contact us!

Remember that we hunt down lots of flea markets, auctions etc, so we can always look out for a specific item or items.

Electricity - safety standards

All our lamps come rewired in compliance with our EU safety standards. This doensn't automaticaly mean that these lights comply with the standards in your country.

Our lamps work around the globe with different voltages as long as you use light bulbs that work in your country. We deliver our lamps without plugs, because these might be different depending on your location.

Should you have specific request for wire lenght or other, always contact us, we are happy to change it according to your needs.

Import duties/Taxes

All our items ship from Belgium (EU). We ship duty free to every country in the EU. For intercontinental shipping it happens that duties are applied. For vintage items they usually won't be that high and most of the times it is exempt.

It is impossible to check on the duty rules for every country depending on the object. Therefore we state that the buyer is responsible for any additional duty or tax payment.

You are always free to contact us if there is a doubtable high amount to pay.
