Pair of stunning brutalist table lamps made from burned aluminum.

These lamps where made by belgian goldsmith Willy Luyckx for a belgian company called Aluclair.

Both lamps are a little bit different, they come with shades but they aren't original.

For shipping reasons it can be more intresting to have the lamps shipped without the shades.

Willy Luyckx was a goldsmith who worked for goldsmith Camille Colruyt before starting his own business in the 1960s. He also had an art center in nearby municipality Sint-Pieters-Leeuw. Under the name Aluclair he produced a hole range of items in this style, all made in this burned aluminium; ashtrays, candlesticks and more than 10 different lamps such as this one. The Aluclair company was active in the 1960s and 1970s. Willy Luyckx died a long time ago.

Tested and ready to use with a regular E27 light bulb.
