Unique mid century modern foldable lounge chair made from rosewood.

Although the designer remains unknown, the chair was certainly designed and crafted by a master mind.

The chair is fully foldable and doesnt need one screw in it's design. It consists of 8 independent panels held togheter by cords.

Next to its stunning design and use of beautiful rosewood, the chair can be set in a normal position or in a lower 'lounge' position.

At first sight, we couldn't believe this would be stable nor take a lot of wheight, but we tested it and it does. It also sits rather good.

Althought it sits well, we see this piece more as a work of art then a functional piece.

The chair comes from France and we estimate the time of manufacturing around the late 1950s, early 1960s.

It is difficult to name a style, but it would certainly work well in lots of spaces and is above all a very good conversation piece and sure is a unique piece as we spend hours searching for a similar item on the internet.

Dimensions:
Height: 72cm/2.34"
Width: 60cm/23.62"
Depth: 80cm/31.49"

The chair is in good condition, no visible surface damages.
