The chair is made of oak and the arm/backrest has been upholstered with a very dark green leather with matching nailheads.
 
The chair has finely sculpted legs and columns, a deep saddle seat and still has the original brass and bakelite casters.
 
Bakelite wasn't used before 1900s, so we date this chair around 1905-1920 and it was probably manufactured in the United Kingdom.
 
The chairs sits well and is stable.
