Stunning brutalist table lamp made from cast aluminum.

This lamp was made by belgian goldsmith Willy Luyckx for a belgian company called Aluclair.

Willy Luyckx was a goldsmith who worked for goldsmith Camille Colruyt before starting his own business in the 1960s. 
Under the name Aluclair he produced a hole range of items in this style, all made in this burned aluminium; ashtrays, candlesticks and more than 10 different lamps such as this one. The Aluclair company was active in the 1960s and 1970s.

Rewired with a braided wire and ready to use with a regular E27 light bulb.

Comes with it's original beige frabric lamp shade.
