Very rare brutalist floor lamp made from cast aluminum.

This lamp was made by belgian goldsmith Willy Luyckx for a belgian company called Aluclair.

Willy Luyckx was a goldsmith who worked for goldsmith Camille Colruyt before starting his own business in the 1960s.
Under the name Aluclair he produced a hole range of items in this style, all made in this burned aluminium; ashtrays, candlesticks and more than 10 different lamps such as this one. But floor lamps are very rare.

The Aluclair company was active in the 1960s and 1970s.

Tested and ready to use with a regular E27 light bulb.

Comes with it's original beige frabric lamp shade.
